What do we offer? The ASAP Physiotherapy Work Recovery team specialise in the design and delivery of (WRAP) Work Related Activity Programs offering a more flexible and practical approach to achieving RTW results. We are specifically designed to assist insurers, rehabilitation providers, return to work coordinators and primary treatment providers "especially physio's" achieve RTW outcomes.
WHO makes up the Work Recovery Team? - The team consists of Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists and Exercise therapists working together to facilitate RTW outcomes within expected timeframes.
ASAP (WRAP) Programs incorporate a comprehensive musculoskeletal and psychosocial screening assessment; psychologist intervention (if indicated); a gym or workplace based conditioning program, and a pro-active approach in establishing a return to work plan with all relevant parities.
ASAP Work recovery Assessments - Follows an evidenced based and practical approach all factors affecting work capacity are evaluated using the most reliable, valid and transportable tools available often including the evaluation of the worker at work "if required".
Work Recovery Programs - Standard WRAP (6 to 12 week) conditioning programs designed to meet individual work related goals with a strong independent activity based and "client-centered problem solving approach" that aim to achieve long term RTW outcomes for the injured worker.
Intensive Work Recovery Program - specifically designed 8 week intensive program that combines a pain management intervention approach managed by an "ASAP team" Psychologist coordinated with an activity based program.
Work F.I.T Programs - short course activity program conducted in the gym or workplace for workers who have returned to pre-injury duties yet still require support with conditioning, symptom management, and performance of certain work tasks.
